Kings Of Leon took the night of their appearance at Governors Ball in New York as an opportunity to announce their sixth full-length album, Mechanical Bull. Hopefully the album isn’t as big of a wash as the fest has been.
Jokes aside, the new collection will be offered on September 24 and the four-piece will be playing festivals all over the world in anticipation of it. The set does surface conveniently before the headlining slot at Austin City Limits Music Festival.
In March, Caleb Followill told NME “I thought we were going to make a really mature album but I’m amazed how youthful it sounds. It’s like a mix of Youth & Young Manhood and Because Of The Times.”
