本月12号，Placebo在iTunes上独家发布了新专辑《Live At Angkor Wat》。
《Live At Angkor Wat》记录了Placebo的”Battle For The Sun“巡演 的第一站，在柬埔寨吴哥窟举行的一场半原声演唱会。这场演出于2008年12月7日在一座12世纪建造的寺庙里举行。这次演出使他们成为第一支在联合国教科文组织认可的世界文化遗产中表演的摇滚乐队。
数字版专辑不仅包含了9首歌曲，而且还有10页的PDF格式的艺术画册，乐迷可以看到乐队主唱Brain Molko私藏的一些从未见世的照片。
Placebo将在明年4月28日于伦敦的O2 Indigo举行一场演唱会。这次演出将作为Sundance（圣丹斯）电影音乐节的一部分。整个的活动将于4月26-29日在O2中心开展。Available exclusively on iTunes, the album features their semi-acoustic show at 12th century temple Angkor Wat in Cambodia, recorded on December 7, 2008 at the start of their 'Battle For The Sun' tour. The trio were the first ever rock band to play the UNESCO world heritage site.
As well as nine tracks, the album download also includes a ten-page PDF art booklet, which features previously unseen photos from frontman Brian Molko's own collection.
