The four track "Melody Calling" EP will be released on August 12th. The EP was recorded during the bands US sessions in March at Eldorado Studios in Burbank, LA, with producers John Hill (Rihanna, MIA, Santigold) and Rich Costey (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys).

Top producers Rich Costey (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys) and John Hill (Rihanna, MIA, Santigold) were present and the EP will be released on August 12th, by which time The Vaccines US tour will be well underway.The band will be supporting Mumford and Sons and Phoenix.
The West London four-piece currently has two full albums to their name and a string of singles, and although it has not been confirmed whether this new EP is a precursor for a new album frontman Justin Young commented on the new songs in an interview with NME: "They feel like a bridge to something else so I guess theyll be an EP. There is a small chance they might be the start of album three."
