Pateando Piedras is a conceptual (and second studio album) album of the Chilean group the Prisoners. It was released on September 15, 1986 on cassette in Chile and 12 inch vinyl in other countries of South America.1 was treated the band's first album to be released by a multinational company. He sold five thousand copies in its pre-sale, and reached the ten thousand units sold in no time. The album was preceded by the hit single, "Move industries," showing the band acquiring influences of European techno bands like Depeche Mode, and abandoning the simple sound of guitar, bass and drums that had characterized their debut album, The Voice 80s in 1984.
Kicking stones gets its title from one of the most emblematic songs of the band, "The Dance of the leftover" theme that has a strong social criticism from its main songwriter, Jorge Gonzalez, who defined it as a "song marginalized youth after leaving formal education ", 2 and has become one of the most important songs in the history of Chilean folk music.
