To Serve Man

Arty noise merchants the Locust started Cattle Decapitation, and not surprisingly the band comes off on To Serve Man as a caricature of the grindy gore-core bands they hope to emulate. Instead of supplying some creativity to the genre, they beat a dead horse, not only musically with a bad Cannibal Corpse fixation, but lyrically with song titles that want to be shocking but aren't, not when compared to the pioneering likes of Carcass or Impetigo at any rate.
