666 Motor Inn专辑介绍
For their second album, Swedish skatepunks the Satanic Surfers have a new singer (drummer Rodrigo Alfaro takes over the mike), a more ironic sense of humor (three song titles include the anti-consumerist "Don't Tell Us What to Do With Our Bodies, You Filthy Bastards," the anti-materialist "You Can Count Your Money in Your Graves, You Filthy Bastards," and the anti-filthy bastards "Fuck Off, You Filthy Bastards," all of which have sardonic lyrics that deliver on the promise of the titles), and a surer grasp of the pop song form. So not only do the songs rock like mad, but there are tunes like the unexpectedly catchy "Start Over" and gasping-for-air intense "Even if Time Stood Still." A huge improvement over the Satanic Surfers' somewhat pedestrian early efforts, 666 Motor Inn is mid-'90s punk with all the humor, angst, and passion you could want.
