一直以来，主唱/吉他手Tyler Connolly、节奏吉他手Dave Brenner、贝斯手Dean Back等Theory Of A Deadman的这3位原始团员，自2001年出道以来就齐力勇闯歌坛，但鼓手却是经过三任替换，直到2009加入的第四任鼓手Joey Dandeneau，才暂时稳定住阵容。首张同名专辑的发行，轻鬆于加拿大获颁白金销售认证。同年，Chad Kroeger带著Tyler参加全明星音乐企划，替卖座电影【蜘蛛人】主题曲「Hero」尽一份力。接续问市的“Gasoline”、“Scars And Souvenirs”和“The Truth Is…”3张大碟，除了加拿大本土持续发酵，于英美两地更开出亮眼佳绩！
稳定每3年推出1张作品的Theory Of A Deadman，献上第五张新作“Savages”，除了吸纳早期出道时的养分，一方面也填入更具音乐性的素材，同时将没尝试过的元素适量谱入。有鉴于现代科技文明的发达，一些偏激人士的疯狂行径，加上许多残酷蛮横事件逐一上演，都成为此作的省思议题，找来曾是Bon Jovi、Santana、Papa Roach等名团的幕后製作大师的Howard Benson操刀。轰然声响敲击的「Drown」，勾引内心世界的黑暗层面，当承受孤独压得喘不过气时，到底人们会冷眼旁观，还是会伸出援手？倒灌出深沉频率，已攀上美国告示牌主流摇滚榜Top12位置；同名之作「Savages」，邀请摇滚名人堂会员Alice Cooper惊喜献艺，还攫取了已故恐怖大师Vincent Price替Michael Jackson所跨刀的经典「Thriller」文字片段；一首有别于分手情歌的「Angel」，道尽无法在一起的遗憾；悄悄流窜出乡村韵味的「Livin` My Life Like A Country Song」，有乡村界累积2000万销量的Rascal Flatts三人团之吉他手Joe Don Rooney助阵，一再体验Theory Of A Deadman此回跨界玩摇滚的爽快度！
Hard rockers Theory Of A Deadman have announced they’ll be releasing their 5th studio album SaVages on July 29th via Road Runner Records. SaVages is a follow up to 2011’s The Truth Is. which debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on Top Rock Albums, Top Hard Rock Albums, and Top Alternative Albums. The band once again enlisted the services of longtime producer Howard Benson for the new record. “We went back to where we belong on this record, back to the angst, back to the darkness,” said frontman Tyler Connolly. “We veered off the road a bit on this one but it took us right to where we needed to be.” The band will be releasing the record’s first single, “Drown”, on April 22. “‘Drown’ is about being alone, the feeling of being washed away and left to your own devices,” Connolly explained. “We’ve all felt that way at some point in our lives; unable to stay afloat, we sink to the bottom which always seems easier in the end than fighting your way back to the surface.” Theory of a Deadman will be touring this spring with Staind. The band will be making a featured appearances at Welcome to Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, and Rock On The Range in Columbus, OH on May 17. Theory of a Deadman broke unto the scene in 2002 with their self-titled debut. Since then, all four of the band’s studio albums have charted in the Top 100 on Billboard. Their 2008 effort, Scars and Souvenirs, has been certified platinum. The band has toured with the likes of Mötley Crüe, Godsmack, Alter Bridge, and Black Stone Cherry. In 2011 they headlined the Carnival of Madness Tour, one of summer’s biggest touring rock festivals every year.
