ONE OK ROCK has announced that it will be releasing a new digital single titled "Taking off" on September 16.
The new song will be used as the theme song for the movie "Museum". It is a live-action film version of the manga series by the same name.
"Museum" is a suspense film about a frog mask wearing serial killer motivated by vigilante justice. Detective Hisashi Sawamura, played by Shun Oguri, leads the investigation against the killer, and later finds out his wife is a target.
Keishi Otomo directs the film. The band previously worked with the director on the movie series "Rurouni Kenshin" by providing their theme songs.
