Unearth

美国新浪潮金属运动代表乐队之一。Massachusetts州的metalcore狂热爱好者Unearth成立于1998年并迅速的成长，然后就马上在Boston附近巡演。他们很快就有了一批追随者，风格有意识的向 the Black Dahlia Murder 和 Killswitch Engage靠拢，并得到了 Lamb of God 和 Slipknot的支持。1999年发行的Above the Fall of Man (Endless Flight)得到好评后，乐队迅速的又发行了2张专辑，2001年的Stings of Conscience和2002年的Endless。他们最出色的专辑是2004年在 Metal Blade 发行的The Oncoming Storm 。这张专辑成了乐评和乐迷的最爱，同时在2004年夏天Unearth组织了Sounds of the Underground Tour，其中包括metal 和 post-hardcore 大名鼎鼎的 Lamb of God, Poison the Well, 和Clutch。
