Since forming in summer ’07 Confined Within have had a very clear mission:
“;Make really good metalcore music.”;
With metalcore going from being the coolest buzzword around to being practically a swearword associated to the stalest, most saturated genre in music, Confined Within have not strayed from their roots. They just do it better than the rest of the bandwagon bands springing out of every musical orifice.
The guys released their debut EP “;World Stops Turning”; to little hype or acclaim but still managed to build a strong local following and have shared the stage with bands such as Skindred, Dead By April, Trigger The Bloodshed, Fei Comodo and Bleed From Withn.
Ready to capitalise on this they signed to Rising Records and entered the studio in December 2010 to record their debut album. Slated for release in May 2011, “;Ashes of a Fallen Kingdom”; is sure to get these boys heard and give them the recognition they deserve. With extensive tours being booked throughout 2011, Confined Within will be impossible to ignore, so keep your eyes and ears peeled and be prepared to have a new favourite band.
