Alternative rock band formed in Pomona, CA, by Adrián and Victor Monroy, Heriberto González, and Eric Rubalcaba. Brothers Monroy started to get interested in Latin rock in the mid-'80s listening to the most popular bands at that time. Their first act was called Juana La Loca in the early '90s. In 1994, the band recorded its first record after signing up to Aztlan, promoting their music in Los Angeles' Latin rock scene. To get their second record done, Pastilla moved to BMG. That album was called Vox Electra, released in 1996.
