英国Melodic Death metal/Deathcore乐队，组建于2011年。
Melodic Death metal/Deathcore band BrainDeadRoots were formed in Fife of Scotland in early 2011, vocalist Cameron Hardy, guitarists Connor Wilkinson and Daniel Hunter, bassist Matthew Macintosh and drummer Michael Paterson. After releasing a self-title EP, the vocalist Cameron left through an argument with another band member but was soon replaced with vocalist Craig Kirk from the local area. Soon after he joined BrainDeadRoots had had started planning the recording of their first FULL album titled "Beautiful Illusion" and had become quite influential in the Deathcore community after a few months of experimenting with different styles and sounds during the creation of the album. In the same year during the creation of the album (Beautiful Illusion) the drummer (Michael) unfortunately didn't have much time for the band anymore and so he left. After Michael left, Craig said he would take over the drums (as he had been drumming for seven years). He also said he didn't feel comfortable as the vocalist as he was more of a drummer but said that he would do backing vocals alongside Matthew (the bassist) and Daniel( the lead guitarist). And when Craig switched to drums, BDR didn't have a vocalist so soon after Craig switched Connor (Rhythm Guitarist) took all responsibilities for vocals. He is currently the vocalist and due to this BDR will be preparing to record a debut album set for 2014.
