Formed under the name Rectal Christ with Brent from "Spiral Demise Zine". This band was a supposed "joke project" by Roach, the guitarist/vocalist for the old underground grindcore band, Son of Dog. He later stated, that with the change of the name, he wanted to do serious black metal.
In the credits for "Killing Raping Burning" a guy named Mike was listed, though he does not exist. Roach simply wanted to create the image of a "real band", yet he recorded every instrument.
