Miserere Luminis是大牌黑金属团Gris与Sombres Forêts共同联合的产物，这两支来自加拿大魁北克的乐团是我一直颇为欣赏的，所以固然也对这支强强联合的新团产生了浓厚的兴趣。新团已经基本脱离了两支乐团原来的Depressive Black Metal式风格和模式，他们自己已经明确表示“Don’t think of it as a mix of the two bands. It is not a conventionnal split but a special album and a special show. ”乐团将自己的音乐风格定性为Psychedelic Black，优美的旋律编排及迷幻的氛围铺垫与其作品具有浓厚的前卫气质。在我听来这张作品有着摆脱了传统黑金属范畴的强烈意识，它让我再次感受到众多乐团在黑金属领域不断进行探索与突破的勇气，而Miserere Luminis并不是敢于做出这种尝试和挑战的第一支乐团，而近几年内就也已经诞生过一批具有前卫意识的乐团和经典的优秀作品，其中大名鼎鼎的就有Alcest、Amesoeurs、Lifelover等。虽然这批乐团还没有形成一种强力的主流影响力，不过我相信随着时间的推移，一定还会涌现更多富有创造精神的乐团，将黑金属艺术带向另一个辉煌的巅峰。………Some things just disappear and this is the purpose of wings.
