B. Blunt

 CoolFire is an Electro-Acoustic trio comprised of Leroy "Boogie" Greer (Percussion), Zach Cutler (Guitar) and B. Blunt (Singer, Songwriter, Producer and recent winner of the 2011 Budweiser Opening Act Competition). CoolFire, which specializes in R&B, Soul and Jazz music.

Although CoolFire's studio recorded music contains full instrumentation, they usually perform with just 1 guitar (acoustic and electric) and percussion (organic and electronic), creating a unique sound that is rarely heard in trios. With an extensive song list of over 60 songs from Marvin Gaye to Maxwell and from Sinatra to Red Hot Chili Peppers, CoolFire has something for everyone. Truly something unique!

Lead vocalist B. Blunt was first recorded at the tender age of three and has been in love with music ever since! Blunt recently won the Budweiser Opening Act Competition and opened up for the Budweiser Superfest Tour starring Jill Scott. Blunt’s singing has also afforded him the opportunity to travel as far as Hong Kong to perform and most recently to 2009 Super Bowl Half Time Show to sing background for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Being the son of a former lead singer of the legendary group The Drifters, it is clear that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
