Established as a gigging four-piece in the summer of 2007, 9Blind have a strong following at the heart of the North London underground scene. They have recently covered a lot of major ground on the London circuit, with performances at venues such as The Scala, The Camden Underworld, The Gaff, and The Relentless Garage.
With the gigs rolling in and performing with bands such as Panic Cell, Forever Never, Orange Goblin and The Defiled, 9Blind still had no real EP to there name, so they decided to record four tracks that would later become known as the 'Immune EP' which gained the band more interest from people within the music industry as well as new fans.
This started some real momentum and was the inspiration behind 9Blinds first Album 'A Negative Response to Change'. The guys started pre production on the album in January 2010, and went away to work with producer Ed Solokowski (Eyes of a Traitor and Vs Akira). In April 2010, 9Blind allowed their close friends and fans to download the album. The reaction to the album was fantastic and has since had some great reviews. 9Blinds sound has been described as "Melodic", "Aggressive" and "Refreshing listening in a scene full of Metallica wannabes".
They have drawn comparisons to such bands as Killswitch Engage, Fightstar, Finch and 36 Crazyfists. After the release of 'A Negative Response To Change', 9Blind will begin work on the follow up EP which they plan to record at the end of the year, and are already working on new material.
