Notes:
- I have included two different ways of playing the
verses (bars 17-32 & 70-85). The finger positions for
"Rhythm L" follow the more classic metalcore style of
barring a chord with your index finger and using your
other fingers to play the higher notes. Personally, I
prefer the fret/finger positions for "Rhythm R" because
they're easier to remember and require less pull-offs.
The choice is yours.
- If, like me, you don't use a tremolo bar/floyd rose
system, you can achieve the "reverse dive bomb"
effect (bar 138) by quickly bending the 6th string on
the 5th fret to increase the pitch by half a step and
then releasing quite slowly. With practice it basically
sounds the same.
