I watched a youtube video of an old Montrose show and Ronnie plays the opening riff by pumping the quarter notes with his thumb on the 7th fret low E and shifting his other fingers to get the chords. For the verses live he changed to a Blues shuffle..which is a bit easier and sounds better If you play this with just one guitar.. But this Tab I kept true to the 1973 album version.
