8 Samba Variation 7

This pattern outlines a samba variation known as 
"Partido alto"

You can also syncopate the second beat of the first 
measure by an eight note (Figure 1).

Notice that the harmony changes on the last 16th of 
the measure, followed by a 16th note rest on the first 
beat.

You can also switch from low to high voices simulating 
an "agogo" pattern
