附注:
This tab is Tuck's accompinying of Patti's song "Better
than anything". Because she's singing like she's
playing percussion, I didn't even try to tab her part.
I challenge you to give it a shot.
This tab does not even try to fully match the sound of
Tuck's very complicated and brilliant play. I wrote it
down while I tried to immitate his play, acting as a
menomonic device for me. This tab may help you as
well in learning something of his style, but you should
really listen to his original recording to get the point and
the rhytmic feel.

Most important sections to watch:
Sections 1d/2d/3d with chord changes
Section 4c with different harmonics
Sections 4ad/4d with important chord changes and
different fingering
General:
=======
C1. Ghost/dead notes (x): Many notes I originally
tabbed are not really played but just happen when
playing.
I have placed them in brackets (Eg. bar 38). Other
dead notes of which I think Tuck really plays them, are
moved to the correct string (Eg. bar 27). Often they are
(a) the result of quickly playing the basic rhythm while
moving your hand already to the next chord or (b)
extreme staccato playing which makes the note more
like a tick then a full tone.
C2. Phrased notes: Some notes I thought were played,
probably aren't: a single note may be "phrased" by
another note (which seems to devide it rhytmically in
two) or by Pat's singing. (E.g. bar 16 or bar 43).
C3. Harmonics/reverb: Some notes I thought were
played are probably just higher harmonics in
combination with reverb and just happen when playing.
I have removed them (E.g bar 24)
C4. Rhytm: Note: although the rhytm is a swing rhytm,
Tuck plays it sometimes more towards a punctuated
rhythm. I have tried to simplify a few things by using
grace notes instead of short beats. This better reflects
the basic rhythm (Eg. bar 28).
Both have resulted in a simpler transcription.

Bar 82: C2
Bar 84-92: After long experimenting, and finding that
harmonics at the 5th fret are hardly amplified on my
jazz-guitar because they are right above the pickup
element, I changed them to harmonics at the 7th fret
with consequences for bass note fingering. On
accoustic guitar you may play like I originally tabbed,
which is somewhat easier.
Bar 101: fingering changed
Bar 104: minor change
Bar 105: C1, grace notes replace by slide (grace note
slide over 2 notes doesn't work in GP4)

Bar 111: Notation changed
Bar 113: C1, Chord corrected! (See also bar 109)

but changed them for the better)
Bar 127: Bass note is clearly heard as well
Bar 128: Superfluous note removed
