1-I added drums and cello rhythm line.Although I
prefer to play intro and chorus parts in my own
way,I should be faithful to Randy's ones so this is
almost the way my brother,Afshin and I play a duet of
the song.He plays cello and I play guitar. We have
drums line from PC. We both considered original
version,Fort Worth (Texas) '96 live version,S&M
version, and Apocalyptica version of the song to reach
this cello rhythm line.It acts as strings (reminding
apocalyptica and S&M ones),bass guitar (esp. when it's
pizz.), and distortion guitar (at solo).I think it's cool.
2-The link notes changed into note duration ones
in order to have a cleaner area with no interference of
the standard notes specially when printing.
3-I modified some bars:
1,14,15,16,18,21,22,32,41,50,57,58,66,73,74,75,76,7
8,80,81,83,84,86,88,98,107,118,119,120,122,131-163
4-about modification of bars 21-22: I think having
normal 16th and 8th notes is easier than having dotted
triolet (3-tuplet) 16th and 8th for an equal timing.isn't it?
5-about modification of bars 131-163 :I added bars
131-134 and shifted the other bars ahead.although this
part starts with bar 127 in original version,it is played by
another guitar. Here that we have one guitar,I think the
best way is having S&M ver. outro as I've put it
here.Kirk is responsible for the outro in S&M and he
plays first part of the intro 4 times as it's come here.
Randy Reiterman:
Whole song ... single guitar intro, chorus, solo, outro ...
IT'S ALL HERE for one guitar. This is the way I play it.
To many others tab this song and make it sound sad
... this isn't a sad song. I play as close as I possibly
can to the original so this tab is as close as I can get to
the original for one guitar. I love it =). One of the
greatest songs ever writen!!
