Save Me

First off, I was tabbing this with the instrumental tracks 
from the Book Of Nightmares deluxe edition, but my 
iPod crashed and I lost everything. And because we 
were moving stuff onto backup discs, different 
computers, etc. it was basically impossible to find the 
instrumentals.

Up to the 2nd Bridge (7:34), I tabbed this using that 
instrumental track. From there onwards I had to use 
the album version and the droning of the vocals made 
it a lot harder than it needed to be (if you want to know 
how much more you can hear, listen to the 
instrumental for Natural Born Killer; I picked up about 
six extra pick slides I couldn't already hear as a result 
of the vocals being left out xD).

There were some very difficult parts, such as the guitar 
solos, for which I thank Joe Collinson, who wrote the 
original Power Tab for this song. I don't know his 
username and it was posted unregisted. Yeah...never 
thought I'd ever see a good unregistered tab again.

Kwonnie gave me some torrents for some very helpful 
software, one of which was actually Guitar Pro 5 with 
RSE. He also got me going with a copy of Amazing 
Slow Downer, for which I am incredibly grateful.

Carl6661, in the meantime, has agreed to tab 
keyboards for this song, but until he's done, you'll have 
to deal with my small fill here and there. Nevertheless, 
this will be updated.

Finally, I want to thank you guys for not badly 
overtabbing an amazing song. It may seen a bit odd, 
but I've had a lot of "great work", in the words of 
others, rejected because stupid n00bs have added 
really bad tabs to the site and mine wouldn't be 
approved because of the number of different 
versions. I've had some very positive comments for my 
rejected work before and I'm really grateful for that.

This took a massive amount of time and effort so rate 
fairly please. A lot of people wanted a complete, 
accurate tab for this and hopefully I've done you guys 
proud. There's a lot of material to work with here, so 
feel free to ask questions about it; I'll do my best to 
help you out.

*Dedicated to Millissa Gillard; you were an amazing 
friend, not a day goes by without remembering the 
great life you lived. You may not have been an 
Avenged Sevenfold fan, but the night you left us, we 
ALL died young. R.I.P. <3
