Note:
This is probably (at present) Tenacious D's most
famous song. It needs to be well tabbed and I hope I
have contributed to that.
The basic principles of the song are to keep Kyle's
introductory guitar section quiet, and then apply some
sound when the first chorus comes. When JB says
rock you need to do as he says.
As far as the sound effects are concerned, I have
designed them so as they can be played with a guitar.
What's the use of applying tab to a harp when most
bands use guitars. This is a tab to be played, not just
listened to on this program.
The drum tab is fully functional and can be used (I
have applied each instrument to a tab line).
This tab goes out to all the D fans, and all the people
tabbing the D's stuff. I would just like to ask that if you
can tab a couple of untabbed D material, I would be
much obliged. The songs include the Road (something
I attempted at but didn't do justice to) and Rock Your
Socks.
