I don't believe the song was recorded to a click; as
such, on the record, the song speeds up slightly
around verse 2. For the sake of simplicity, I kept the
tempo unchanged.
Please don't rag on me for the lack of solos or the fact
that I haven't captured every minute little nuance of
Flo Mounier's octopussery. The first is very hard
because of the sloppy nature of Cryptopsy solos
around that time, and the fact that the production turns
all of the low notes into mush anyway. For that matter,
neither Jon nor Alex (when Jon left) would replicate the
solo perfectly live anyway. God knows what any new
guy will do (at time of writing, no replacement has yet
to be hired). As for the drumming, doing it perfectly
would take weeks and be a pain in the arse. On top of
which, in the faster blasting sections, he uses fills to
cover up mistakes; as such, the fills are also ever so
slightly off-time, and it's nigh on impossible to tab it
accurately.
Ditto for bass solo: pretty much indistinguishable on
record, and he plays fuck knows what live.
But hey, it's a guitar tab after all, so who cares? RIP
