Not to take anything away from Mason Williams
orignal '70s version, I always loved this classic for the
finger-pickers or, as I prefer, the 'open-hand' players.
However his original bridge, or chorus, or whatever
(you know . . .that thingy in the middle . . .) was done
by full orchestra and went to a major key. Play it as
many ways as I could think of as a guitar solo, it never
sounded right. Sooooo . . .because I wanted this to be
a true guitar solo (I may add rythym and bass tracks
later . . .) I wrote my own 'middle thingy' or bridge (and
yes . . .I took some libertys with the first part also).
