| Composed 15th. July 2013 for my mother, Inger Marie Kindgren (12th January 1926- 18th July 2013). Getting closer to the end my mother could not say all the words properly and many of her sentences ended unfinished. But I could always understand what she meant and felt. I held one of her hands and I had my other hand on her chest when she took her last breath. I felt her strong heart stop beating and heard her last breath. It was hard to witness but it was also beautiful. I cannot say all the words I want to, to honor her memory. I hope this music does. Thank you for everything. Yours with love, Per-Olov |
