附注:
This is our first fingerstyle blues piece. It uses an
alternating bass beneath a simple melody and sounds
best when the bass notes are using the heel of your
riht hand (this technique is called PALM MUTING,
notated by P.M. between notation and TAB staves).
"Shallow River Blues" is in the key of E, so most of the
bass notes are open strings. Use your knowledge of
common chords to help you with the left-hand
fingerings, and practice the piece slowly until you can
feel a natural flow in the right hand. Play the higher
notes with your index and middle fingers, and
remember to keep the bass chuggin' away
