Basically I combined the powertabs and guitar pro
files, so credit goes to thoes that made it. Actually, the
powertab come from the tab book U2 - The Best Of -
Guitar Tablature Edition, which is available at
http://tablinks.blogspot.com/ (look for it in the month
of October uploads), if anyone is interested. The bass
and drums and chorus chords were correct in the
guitar pro, while the powertab had the correct overall
arrangement of guitar and synth.
Couple of notes:
-The durms in the begining should really be drum sticks
hitting against each other for countdown - I would
have substituted with a metronome click, but I couldn't
actually find it as an instrument.
-I have also modified the guitar chords in the chorus to
make the fingering easier. The guitar chorus chords
differ somewhat from the keyboard chords.
-The overall chord layout is as follows:
Intro: D7,F7min
Verse: D7, F7min w/ synth playing Dsus2 and Fsus4
Chorus: F,Csus4 x2, F,C,D#,A#sus4,D#,A#
Bridge: A#/G, A7
Ending - F/D - F,G,Amin,G x2 - F
- I couldn't be bothered to get the vocals in, so if
somebody wants work them in yourself - they're
available on the guitar pro file, but have to be modified.
- Some of the harmonics seem unreachable, but its
wirtten out for midi purposes - the 27/29fret harmonics
are actually meant to be played as fret position 2.6
harmonics on the three bottom strings - again check
the tab book download for more details.
- This tab sounds really cool with Realistic Sound, but
you have to sort out the volumes of all the tracks so
that it doesn't fuzzed out distorted, with all that reverb.
