My goal was to make the tab as accurate as possible,
especially the guitar parts. Luckily there was a
surround mix available, which made it possible to
separate the tracks and get a clear idea of all layers of
the song.
There was also a lot of video footage of the guitar
parts, which helped getting the final touches. I spent a
lot of time making this, and I don't think the tab has
many flaws. Inform me if you find something worth
mentioning.
Since some leads are played using an ebow, they
are tabbed so they can be played on one string. If you
don't use an ebow, just make small adjustments so you
don't have to move across the fretboard so much.

Press F5 for info.
Mute the low strings with yout ring finger
when playing the first chord of bar 79.
Avoid emphasizing the open string note
when playing the small chord with the open
G string.
There is a slight variation in guitar 2 at the
end of every two bars.

Notice that the drumbeat in bar 19 does not
repeat until bar 51. After that it is
repeated throughout the rest of the riff.
NOTE: This strumming part is simpler when
the riff repeats later. Check out the other
strumming pattern as well.
and learn them both if you want to.
I think the way they play it... ->
live is propably pretty much the way it's played
the second time on the album (bars 68-75)
This is the way this line is played on the... ->
(cont'd) record, even though it's hard to hear and
they play it differently live.

Hard to hear in stereo mix, start releasing the

(cont'd) pick the 10th fret of the e string
The X basically indicates where you should mute
that open string from ringing.
I'm not sure how much legato there really is

(cont'd) suggestions.
The live version seems a bit easier if you find
this too hard to play, check out one of their
live DVDs and try to figure out how Mikael
is playing it.
Let the 4th fret of the G string to ring until
you pick the open G string to keep it smooth.
Cover 5 or 6 strings with your index finger
but only press down the top strings to mute
the low strings.
That's my suggestion, and that's how Mikael
seems to play it live.
