附注:
The word "Soleares" was derived from the Spanish
"Soledad", which means "loneliness". This kind of
flamenco music has deep, dramatic intonations.
Soleares along with Sitria belongs to the oldest
flamenco samples. Alegrias, cantinas, bulerias, and
other forms are rhythmic variations of the soleares.
Soleares is usually played in Phrygian E. Size, usually
3/4. One compas consists of 4 cycles, and thus
contains 12 beats with emphasis on the 3rd, 6th, 8th,
10th, and 12th beats. In flamenco music, it is
considered to be up to ten, that is, the 11th and 12th
parts are counted as the 1st and 2nd.
