Early era video game music is very interesting. Since the systems weren't capable of playing chords, they had to come up with other ways to make the music sound good. So there you have these fast arpeggios also found a lot in modern rock and metal. Most of this song was probably not composed using a guitar though as it often goes much higher than the guitar's range (possibly also a sound limitation issue, low pitch isn't supported)
I've kept this tab very basic and close to the real game (except things like seagull/shore/effects, not a GP6 thing), you can do a lot more with the notes. Put arpeggios together and there you have your synth/violin/acoustic chords. It's not your standard pop/rock chords though.

These are the 7 versions from the game.
Use prebends or harmonics if you don't have 24
Use brackets "[ ]" to make repeats for single songs
We gotta make harmonics to get on pitch sometimes.
It's same notes as I. just down an octave here
yep
This variation is just different key with some nuances. And I had to go down an octave.
Yeah we can't play this...
not this either
The pitch of this percussive thingy is off key.
yep
yep
This seems almost written for guitar
You can legato more (or less), whatever works for you
