The drone synth (Gtr. I) doesn't actually rehit the note at the start of each Rehearsal Sign, it hits it once at the start and
it just keeps going. I've tabbed it this way though so that you actually hear it if you start playing from somewhere that isn't
the start.
The second synth (Gtr. II) is supposed to stop very suddenly - however, 'cause of the MIDI patch I've used, it f
ades out instead when the note stops playing.The bass slowly fades in over the course of the first couple of Rehearsal Signs -
it's not at full volume until section [D]. I've tried emulating this with dynamics, but it's not quite the same...
The only
really distinguishable note is the C that's slid into and out of - at the bottom of the slide there's just a whole heap of nois
e. The deadnotes are there to try and mimic that. So if you happen to be playing this live and you aren't a member of NIN, just
adlib some dead notes in there :)
