The transcription is intended to be as accurate and complete as possible. It utilises several features of Guitar Pro 6, including effects and the extra downloadable soundbanks.
SONG NOTES
The entire song appears to have been sped up, and therefore sounds slightly sharp (approximately 1 semitone or just under). If you want to play along with the original track, you can either shift all guitar/bass tablature up by one fret, tune up or place a capo on fret 1.
Several effects in the song are untranscribable, notably the treated cymbal swells and the sounds that occur during the breakdown. Also, some of Freddie's vocal adlibs and shouts are difficult to get pitch perfect.
Guitar 1 is a clean rhythm guitar track which essentially copies the bass parts through the song.
Guitar 2 is a clean rhythm guitar which plays the funky chords.
Guitars 3 and 4 are the distorted guitar parts.
The keyboard sounds are extremely difficult to recreate in Guitar Pro, so an approximation is used where possible. The sound on the original song is a reversed piano with heavy phasing/flanging. There are also some effects using what sounds like Brian's guitar harmoniser which he also used on 'Get Down, Make Love', and these are untranscribable.
The drum track is a loop with some fills placed on a seperate track. The fills and the handclaps both have a heavy reverb sound, whereas the drum loop is very dry. The numerous cymbal swells which occur throughout the song have not been included, as Guitar Pro doesn't handle them very well.
