New millennium melodic thrashers Savage Messiah hail from London, England, where they were formed by vocalist, lead guitarist, and all-around creative force Dave Silver shortly after the demise of his previous band, Headless Cross. Within a few months, Silver had almost single-handedly recorded the band's 2007 debut, Spitting Venom, but added drummer Pete Hunt (ex-Marshall Law), bassist Chris O'Toole and co-lead guitarist James Tyler for Savage Messiah's live appearances. Both of the latter would be dispensed with before year's end, though, and permanent replacements are still pending.
